Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Thursday on account of sluggish demand from tyre makers against higher imports in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 119/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 120/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 117/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 118/ kg.

In the futures market, November delivery fell to Rs 118.05 compared to its previous closing of Rs 118.70 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
