HPCL collaborates with District Administration Ranchi for ‘Plastic Free Ranchi’

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has collaborated with District Administration Ranchi for ‘Plastic Free Ranchi’ by involving more than three lakhs School Children as part of Swachhta Hi Seva (SHS) 2019, a Jan Andolan for Swachhta being celebrated across the Country, from September 11 to October 27, 2019.

Under a joint initiative with District Administration Ranchi, a unique youth centric large scale sensitization program for School Children was undertaken which included Shramdaan for the collection of Plastic Waste, Tree plantation drives, Spot Quiz and Drawing Competitions.

HPCL is an Indian state-owned oil and natural gas company with its headquarters at Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has about 25% marketing share in India among PSUs and a strong marketing infrastructure.
