Venus Remedies has entered into agreement to sell its patented product Elores to Cipla for the Indian Territory. This association with Cipla will enable greater patient access of Elores in India. Elores is a novel combination of Ceftriaxone. Sulbactam and Disodium EDTA indicated for the treatment of life-threatening infections caused by gram-negative bacteria.
The present deal with Cipla for Indian Territory will enable VRL to focus its efforts on strengthening its global position for Elores. Currently, Elores is available in 7 countries and is scheduled to be launched in another 4 territories over the next 12 months; it is under registration in many other parts of world.
