Bharti Airtel inches up as its arm partners with Finablr for international money remittances

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 374.50, up by 0.30 points or 0.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 374.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 375.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 376.65 and Rs. 360.90 respectively. So far 94348 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 396.55 on 14-Oct-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 256.21 on 31-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 396.40 and Rs. 360.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 191037.28 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.53% and 1.74% respectively.

Bharti Airtel’s subsidiary -- Airtel Africa has partnered with payment and foreign exchange services firm Finablr to enable customers to transfer money from over 100 countries to their Airtel wallets in Africa. The service is expected to be launched market-by-market in a phased manner, with the first country to go live by year-end.

As an outcome of the arrangement, Airtel Africa mobile money operations will be integrated with Finablr's technology platform and global network to facilitate seamless inward and outbound cross-border payments.
