Linde India gains on getting CCI’s nod for divestment of south region business

Linde India is currently trading at Rs. 533.75, up by 9.20 points or 1.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 524.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 556.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 556.00 and Rs. 528.00 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 819.00 on 14-Jan-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 395.05 on 29-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 556.00 and Rs. 513.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4580.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.90% and 9.10% respectively.

Linde India has received a letter from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) approving the suitability of Air Water Inc. as the purchaser of the South Region Divestment Business, through Air Water India in terms of the transaction documents, namely Business Transfer Agreement and Transition Support Services Agreement in relation to the South Region Divestment Business subject to certain modifications specified by CCI in the Business Transfer Agreement. The CCI has also extended the divestiture period of South Region Divestment Business till December 17, 2019
