Further to the intimation dated September 05, 2019 with respect to the receipt of Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) for building 23 boats for the Kochi Water Metro Project, Cochin Shipyard has informed that the contract for design and construction of 23 numbers of Hybrid-Electric Passenger Ferries has been signed between Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and KMRL on October 29, 2019 at Kochi. The value of the contract is Rs 175.70 crore.
