SPIC has resumed commercial production of Urea and Ammonia on November 03, 2019, in its plants in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. For both Urea and Ammonia plants, the production is expected to return to full capacity in the next few days.
The plants were shut down by the management as per schedule for regular maintenance and up-gradation work, and replacement of the Urea reactor about a month ago.
