National Fertilizers has witnessed a significant jump in total sales in September quarter of FY20 compared to the corresponding period last year. The company sold 16.82 LMT of fertilizers in the Q2FY20 against 12.37 LMT sold during corresponding period last year with an overall increase of 36%.
The imported fertilizers such as DAP/MoP/NPKs etc. have kept on the momentum of growth with an increase of 42% in sales during second quarter of FY20 compared to corresponding period last year. The company sold 2.6 LMT of imported fertilizers in Q2FY20 against the 1.83 LMT of the corresponding period last year.
National Fertilizers is second largest producer of Nitrogenous Fertilizers in the India commanding 16.5% of market share. The company also manufactures spectrum of industrial products which include Methanol, Sodium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite, Nitric Acid, Sulphur, Liquid Oxygen, Liquid CO2, Liquid Nitrogen etc.
