Jagran Prakashan reports around 3-fold jump in Q2 consolidated net profit

Jagran Prakashan has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2019.

The company has reported around three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 96.58 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 33.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 2.97% at Rs 441.99 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 455.51 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported around three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 125.79 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 44.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 5.73% at Rs 528.45 crore for Q2FY20 as compared Rs 560.56 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
