MindTree, a global IT Services and Product Engineering Services Company, is scouting for engineering talent across TIER-1, TIER-2, TIER-3 colleges and cities. The hiring initiative is in partnership with Aspiring Minds, an employability solutions firm, has begun in September 2012. The company is upbeat about talent beyond a select few colleges, and will use an adaptive assessment tool from Aspiring Minds-AMCAT to standardize their hiring procedure.
Using standardized assessment tool AMCAT-India’s Largest Employability Test, candidates will be assessed on language, aptitude and functional skills. Post the assessment, the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and once selected will be offered appropriate roles within MindTree.
Having validated AMCAT’s capabilities to assess performance, MindTree will use an objective preset quality benchmark, which will help define the skill set required for an engineer to perform well in IT services roles irrespective of biases based on college or location. MindTree aims to provide engineering talent from across the country, an opportunity to work with the company based on a rigorous and objective evaluation.
