United Spirits has received approval for scheme of amalgamation and arrangement in relation to the proposed merger of the Company's listed subsidiary Pioneer Distilleries. Pioneer Distilleries is a subsidiary of the Company, which currently has a 75% shareholding in Pioneer Distilleries. The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 02, 2019 has approved the same.
United Spirits is the largest spirits company in India and a flagship entity of UB group. It manufactures wide range of whisky, vodka, rum and other spirits.
