Emami gains on re-launching Fast Relief with new ‘Superfast Cheetah Formula’

Emami is currently trading at Rs. 508.00, up by 9.90 points or 1.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 498.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 499.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 508.00 and Rs. 496.70 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 557.65 on 04-Jun-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 320.75 on 30-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 524.95 and Rs. 495.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7,686.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.74% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.69% and 8.57% respectively.

Emami, major FMCG player has re-launched Fast Relief in the market with the new Superfast Cheetah Formula. This new formula is prepared with 11 rapid action active ingredients, which will penetrate instantly deep inside the skin and give quick relief from backache, joint pain and sprain.

This new product was developed by Emami’s research and development team. The company aims to double the market share of Himani Fast Relief in next 2 years with the introduction of new formulation along with improved marketing strategies. The company holds 22% share in the Rs 1,800-crore rubefacient market.
