Physical rubber prices continued to be in a mixed trend on Thursday. Declines in the domestic and international futures and the absence of follow-up buying kept the commodity under pressure during the day.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety continued to decline to Rs 192/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 193/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 187/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 186/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of October delivery weakened to Rs 187 compared to its previous closing of Rs 190.46, while November delivery closed at Rs 186.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 189.79 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
