Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 8,62,838.46 crore on December 16 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,20,57,487.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 15,656.13 crore, Stock Futures Rs 38,504.35 crore and Index Options Rs 7,64,126.95 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 44,551.03 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.93, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.96 and that of Stock Options was 0.54.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on Shree Cement (1.50), Just Dial (1.25), Shriram Transport Finance Company (1.18), Kotak Mahindra Bank (1.10) and Indraprastha Gas (1.03).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 1.98 million units of Open Interest in the December month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing an addition of 0.81 million units of Open Interest in the December month contract, Tata Consultancy Services witnessed an addition of 0.59 million units of Open Interest in the December month contract, Kotak Mahindra Bank witnessed an addition of 0.93 million units of Open Interest in the December month contract and ICICI Bank witnessed an addition of 1.21 million units of Open Interest in the December month future contract (Provisional).
