The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7867.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 6654.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1212.97 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 896.53 crore with gross sales of Rs 1511.84 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 615.31 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 28.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 26.54 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.82 crore in hybrid segment.
