Piramal Enterprises surges on raising Rs 1,750 crore via preferential allotment of CCDs

Piramal Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 1642.70, up by 11.00 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 1631.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1637.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1645.60 and Rs. 1633.00 respectively. So far 4464 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2795.95 on 01-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1302.00 on 15-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1701.20 and Rs. 1622.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32708.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.59% and 15.31% respectively.

Piramal Enterprises has completed a fundraising of Rs 1,750 crore through preferential allotment of compulsory convertible debentures (CCDs) to Canadian institutional investor Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ). The compulsory conversion of CCDs into equity shares will take place within 18 months from the date of allotment.
