Avantel gains on bagging orders from ISRO, Ministry of Defence

Avantel is currently trading at Rs. 312.00, up by 2.50 points or 0.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 309.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 318.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 325.00 and Rs. 310.00 respectively. So far 6527 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 330.00 on 23-Dec-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 185.05 on 25-Sep-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 330.00 and Rs. 266.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 128.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.52%, while Non-Institutions held 60.48% stake in the company.

Avantel has received two orders, one for an amount of Rs 34.18 crore from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, ISRO for supply of Subsystems of Wind Profiler Radar. The another order is of an amount of Rs 8.80 crore from Government of India, Ministry of Defence for supply of Satellite Communication equipment.

Avantel is actively involved in design and development of products based on High Power Broad band Wireless, Satellite Communication and Broad band access technologies.
