Emami Group is inching closer to turning debt-free in line with the city-based diversified conglomerate's plans for 2019-20 fiscal. The group earlier this year was looking to pare the entire debt of Rs 2,600 crore by March 2020. The target is likely to be achieved well within the internal deadlines.

Emami is the flagship company of the Emami Group and engaged in manufacturing products under various categories namely Hair Care, Skin Creams and Lotions, Talcum Powder and ayurvedic health care products.
