Bond yields trade higher on Thursday

Bond yields edged higher on Thursday, tracking gains in crude oil prices.

Furthermore, Oil prices rose on Thursday, buoyed by a potential breakthrough in the Sino-U.S. trade war and OPEC-led efforts to constrain supply, although trading was quiet as many markets were in holiday mode. 

Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 1 basis point higher at 6.58% from its previous close of 6.57% on Tuesday. 

The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 1 basis point higher at 6.45% from its previous close of 6.44% on Tuesday.
