Premier Explosives rises on securing order worth Rs 15.44 crore from Jaiprakash Power Ventures

Premier Explosives is currently trading at Rs. 152.50, up by 2.15 points or 1.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 150.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 148.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 153.50 and Rs. 147.50 respectively. So far 420 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 276.00 on 23-Jan-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 129.25 on 11-Dec-2019.

Premier Explosives has received a Rate Contract for Supply of Bulk Loading Explosives from Jaiprakash Power Ventures. The contract is for a period of one year from January 1, 2020 with an expected value of Rs 15.44 crore and the supplies would be made from Singrauli plant.

Premier Explosives is a prominent player in manufacturing solid propellants for India's prestigious missile programs like Akash, Astra, and LRSAM.
