FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 01 data: NSDL

01 Jan 2020 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Wednesday’s data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1496.50 crore against gross selling of Rs 3468.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1972.18 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1291.07 crore with gross sales of Rs 1834.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 543.38 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.03 crore against gross selling of Rs 8.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8.63 crore in hybrid segment.
