Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Thursday due to buyer resistance in the market, followed by lack of enquiries from the non-tyre sector. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 131/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to 126/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 126.50/ kg.

In the futures market, January delivery gained to Rs 133.05 compared to its previous closing of Rs 133.02, while February delivery was at Rs 134.95 compared to its previous close of Rs 134.50 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
