Bharti Airtel rings loud on launching $2 billion QIP

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 463.20, up by 4.25 points or 0.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 458.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 471.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 474.05 and Rs. 461.90 respectively. So far 208835 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 485.75 on 02-Dec-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 269.25 on 05-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 474.05 and Rs. 435.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 238353.97 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.53% and 1.74% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has opened qualified institutions placement (QIP) process to raise $2 billion and has launched foreign currency convertible bond (FCCBs) worth up to $1 billion. For the QIP issue, the special committee of directors has fixed a floor price of Rs 452.09 per share.
