FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 09 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3974.18 crore against gross selling of Rs 4318.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 344.75 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1005.36 crore with gross sales of Rs 940.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 65.12 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 100.00 crore against gross selling of Rs 427.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 327.71 crore in hybrid segment.
