BSE’s JV gets certification from IRDAI to commence Insurance broking business

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and Ebix’s joint venture (JV) -- BSE EBIX Insurance Broking (BSE EBIX) has received certification of registration from Insurance Regulatory Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to commence Insurance broking business. BSE EBIX plans to launch insurance business by early February 2020.

BSE provides an efficient and transparent market for trading in equity, debt instruments, derivatives, mutual funds. It also has a platform for trading in equities of small-and-medium enterprises (SME).
