RIL’s telecom arm submits application for 5G trials

Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm -- Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) has submitted its application for 5G trials. The telecom arm has partnered with Samsung for 5G trials in the country. The 5G trials are expected to begin between January and March.

Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
