Piramal Enterprises surges on raising Rs 150 crore via NCDs

Piramal Enterprises is currently trading at Rs. 1582.50, up by 35.55 points or 2.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 1546.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1553.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1585.70 and Rs. 1551.55 respectively. So far 19638 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2,728.85 on 01-Apr-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1,270.75 on 15-Oct-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1585.70 and Rs. 1415.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 35140.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.59% and 15.31% respectively.

Piramal Enterprises has raised funds aggregating to Rs 150 crore through allotment of 1,500 secured, rated, unlisted, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) having a face value of Rs 10 lakh each on Private Placement. The Administrative Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 16, 2020 has allotted the same.
