Lupin’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm -- Lupin Foundation has won the prestigious Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association (IDMA) Corporate Citizen award 2019, at the IDMA 58th Annual Day Celebrations held in Mumbai on January 18, 2020. The company was conferred this award in the CSR category 'Initiative towards Agriculture,' for its beekeeping project that has directly benefitted nearly 4000 families. Beekeeping has become a massive programme in the district and provided employment and alternative source of income for farmers.
