CCI approves divestment of Reliance Jio's telecom tower assets

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved divestment of Reliance Jio's telecom tower assets to Canada's Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP and other investors. The other investors include British Columbia Investment Management Corporation, GIC Infra Holdings Pte's subsidiaries Anahera Investment Pte and Valkyrie Investment Pte.

Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) is telecom arm of Reliance Industries.

Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
