GE T&D India zooms on winning SCADA & ADMS project from JKPDD

GE T&D India is currently trading at Rs. 163.65, up by 10.60 points or 6.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 153.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 154.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 166.15 and Rs. 154.00 respectively. So far 26433 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 312.75 on 23-Jan-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 124.00 on 07-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 166.90 and Rs. 152.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4199.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.20% and 7.80% respectively.

GE T&D India has been awarded a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Advanced Distribution Management Solution (ADMS) project by the Jammu & Kashmir Power Development Department (JKPDD) for the distribution operations in the cities of Jammu and Srinagar.

The order worth approximately Rs 173 crore, won through a competitive bidding process, includes a 5-year maintenance services contract and the supply and integration of a host of solutions in the overall distribution network in the two cities. 

GE T&D India is engaged in power transmission and distribution. Its products and systems serve to transmit and distribute electricity, ensure the reliability, quality and safety of energy flows, as well as operate efficient networks through information management.
