BSE to launch futures contracts on aluminium, zinc in commodity derivatives segment

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is all set to launch futures contracts on aluminium and zinc in commodity derivatives segment with effect from January 27, 2020. Futures, in market parlance, are derivative financial contracts that obligate the parties to transact an asset at a predetermined future date and price.

BSE provides an efficient and transparent market for trading in equity, debt instruments, derivatives, mutual funds. It also has a platform for trading in equities of small-and-medium enterprises (SME).
