FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per January 24 data: NSDL

24 Jan 2020 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8035.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 6538.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1497.17 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1392.96 crore with gross sales of Rs 1137.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 255.51 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 3.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3.18 crore in hybrid segment.
