Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Saturday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Saturday as lack of enquiries from the tyre sector kept the commodity under pressure. Though, some losses were capped by ongoing supply crunch in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 137/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 132/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 132.50/ kg.

In the futures market, February delivery declined to Rs 136.82 compared to its previous closing of Rs 139.01, while March delivery was at Rs 139.35 compared to its previous close of Rs 141.47 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
