EID Parry climbs on raising Rs 100 crore via NCDs

E.I.D. Parry (India) is currently trading at Rs. 231.00, up by 3.00 points or 1.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 228.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 227.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 231.00 and Rs. 226.20 respectively. So far 1914 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 243.45 on 16-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 135.40 on 31-Jul-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 233.00 and Rs. 218.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4014.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.68% and 47.55% respectively.

EID Parry (India) has raised Rs 100 crore through the allotment of 1000 Rated, Listed, Secured, Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of face value of Rs 10,00,000 each. The Loans and Investment Committee of the Board on January 24, 2020 has allotted the same. 

EID Parry (India) is a significant player in Sugar with interests in promising areas of Bio Pesticides and Nutraceuticals. The company also has a significant presence in Farm Inputs business through its subsidiary, Coromandel International.
