Asis Plywood has become a step-down subsidiary of Century Plyboards with effect from January 28, 2020. Earlier, Auro Sundram Ply & Door (ASPDPL), a subsidiary of Century Plyboards, had acquired Asis Plywood which was undergoing corporate insolvency proceedings.
Asis Plywood was operating a plywood manufacturing unit at Roorkee in Uttarakhand situated adjacent to ASPDPL’s manufacturing unit.
Century Plyboards is largest seller of plywood and decorative veneers in the Indian organized plywood market. The manufacturing facility of company is located at Bishnupur near Joka, Kolkata.
