Bajaj Finserv falls despite reporting 32% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Bajaj Finserv is currently trading at Rs. 9808.95, down by 93.30 points or 0.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 9902.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9970.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9970.00 and Rs. 9752.15 respectively. So far 4996 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10297.00 on 18-Dec-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 5851.15 on 18-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9970.00 and Rs. 9485.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 156281.15 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.41% and 24.09% respectively.

The company has reported a fall of 58.46% in its net profit at Rs 3.19 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2019 as compared to Rs 7.68 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 11.82% at Rs 39.53 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 35.35 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 32.35% in its net profit attributed to the equity holders at Rs 1,125.64 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 850.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 30.69% at Rs 14,560.74 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 111,41.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
