Paisalo Digital slips despite getting nod to raise Rs 99 crore via NCDs

Paisalo Digital is currently trading at Rs. 268.60, down by 22.45 points or 7.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 291.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 280.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 284.90 and Rs. 270.00 respectively. So far 2339 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 470.90 on 05-Nov-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 259.00 on 28-Jan-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 406.75 and Rs. 259.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1164.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.07% and 24.86% respectively.

Paisalo Digital’s board has approved the Offer to issue Unlisted Unsecured 12% Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs), in the nature of subordinate debt, for an amount up to Rs 99 crore. The Board of Directors of the company in their meeting held on January 30, 2020 has considered and approved the same.

Paisalo Digital is a leading systemically important Non-Deposit taking NBFC registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in operation since 1992. The company’s main thrust is on small finance to ensure rural development, self-employment and women-empowerment.
