Chemical Fertilisers stocks rise on proposal to change existing regime for chemical fertilisers

Shares of companies related to Chemical Fertilisers sector soared after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that they are looking to change existing regime that promotes excessive use of chemical fertilisers.

Kaveri Seed Company is currently trading at Rs. 485.80, up by 10.00 points or 2.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 475.80 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 475.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 486.00 and Rs. 474.05 respectively.

Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 113.70, up by 2.50 points or 2.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 111.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 112.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 115.65 and Rs. 112.60 respectively.
