Gas Distribution stocks gain on proposal to expand National Gas Grid to 27,000 Km

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her budget proposal has announced that government will expand National Gas Grid to 27,000 Km from 16,200 Km.

Mahanagar Gas is currently trading at Rs. 1178.10, up by 4.50 points or 0.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 1173.60 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1178.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1211.40 and Rs. 1170.60 respectively.

GAIL (India) is currently trading at Rs. 122.95, up by 2.50 points or 2.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 120.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 121.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 124.10 and Rs. 121.00 respectively.
