According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 698.61 crore in index futures and options segments on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 400.48 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 298.13 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 769.31 crore while they also sold stock options worth Rs 14.38 crore.
