V-Mart Retail as opened three new stores, one in the state of Madhya Pradesh and two in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Further, the Company has also closed a store in the state of Odisha. With this total number of stores increased to 260 stores in 188 cities across 19 states and total tally of stores in Madhya Pradesh to 15 and in Uttar Pradesh to 99.
V-Mart Retail is one of the pioneers in setting up stores across various small Indian towns and cities. The company primarily operates in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, with a chain of ‘value retail’ departmental stores offering apparels, general merchandise and kirana, catering to the entire family.
