Piramal Enterprises reports 20% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Piramal Enterprises has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2019.

The company has reported a net profit of Rs 36.72 crore for the quarter under review against net loss of Rs 68.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 29.26% at Rs 1068.77 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 826.85 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 20.27% in its net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 724.95 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 602.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 9.88% at Rs 3,947.00 crore for Q3FY20 as compared Rs 3,592.10 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
