Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Tuesday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Tuesday, despite an ongoing supply crunch in the market following expectation of lower domestic output and fall in imports. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to 136.50/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 137/kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 132/kg.

In the futures market, March delivery declined to Rs 136.36 compared to its previous closing of Rs 137.15, while April delivery was at Rs 139.40 compared to its previous close of Rs 140.02 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
