Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) has delivered its fourth anti-submarine warfare stealth corvette to the Indian Navy. Kavaratti was the last in the series of four anti- Submarine Warfare Corvettes (ASWC) built by GRSE under Project 28 which approved in 2003. Project 28 is a class of anti- submarine warship corvettes currently in service with the Indian Navy. The corvettes are named after islands in the Lakshadweep archipelago.
