Vodafone Idea spurts on paying Rs 1,000 crore to DoT towards AGR due

Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 4.38, up by 0.19 points or 3.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 4.19 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4.44 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4.98 and Rs. 4.23 respectively. So far 109627022 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 21.32 on 13-Mar-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.61 on 15-Nov-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5.25 and Rs. 2.83 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12672.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.05%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.30% and 7.65% respectively.

Vodafone Idea has paid Rs 1,000 crore more to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) towards adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues. Earlier, the company had paid Rs 2,500 crore to the government towards its statutory dues. In all, it owes Rs 53,000 crore to the telecom department.
