BSE Equity Derivatives witnesses turnover of Rs 7,591 crore

The S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex futures and options have touched a record high of Rs 7,591 crore turnover on February 25, 2020. The previous high of Rs 5,251 crore was recorded on February 20. The implementation of interoperability clubbed with active participation from the members has led to an increase in equity derivatives turnover on BSE.

BSE provides an efficient and transparent market for trading in equity, debt instruments, derivatives, mutual funds. It also has a platform for trading in equities of small-and-medium enterprises (SME).
