HCL Technologies (HCL) has been selected to join the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol Working Group (AMQP) where the company being only IT service provider among AMQP Working Group will work with other members to provide guidance in developing an industry standard for ubiquitous messaging and to drive interoperability among disparate messaging systems.
HCL was selected as the pre-eminent voice from the IT services industry after a review process by the steering committee of AMQP. HCL's participation in the working group supports collaboration and interoperability through the delivery of open, extensible solutions that enable customers to build a foundation for future infrastructure demands, while meeting contemporary messaging requirements.
By collaborating on the multiple specifications for infrastructure, the group will ultimately provide businesses with a simple and powerful way of connecting messaging-dependent applications within the enterprise as well as with external partners.
