Bharti Airtel falls on losing 11,050 subscribers in December

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 528.40, down by 6.95 points or 1.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 535.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 535.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 535.00 and Rs. 520.45 respectively. So far 361042 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 568.60 on 18-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 276.32 on 26-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 552.00 and Rs. 520.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 287289.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.54% and 6.71% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has lost 11,050 customers in December 2019. Following this, the company’s total customer base decreased to 32.72 crore with market share of 28.43% in terms of Wireless Subscribers as on December 31, 2019.

The subscribers of Bharti Airtel include subscribers of Tata Teleservices. However, DoT has not yet approved the merger of them.
