India Cement surges as Gopikishan Damani buys over 85 lakh shares in company

The India Cements is currently trading at Rs. 106.10, up by 1.50 points or 1.43% from its previous closing of Rs. 104.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 109.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 111.90 and Rs. 104.35 respectively. So far 996588 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 116.90 on 28-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 67.90 on 23-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 111.90 and Rs. 73.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3241.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.24%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.15% and 40.61% respectively.

The ace investor Radhakishan Damani’s brother Gopikishan S Damani has acquired 2.75% stake in the India Cement on February 25, 2020. As per Bulk deal data Gopikishan has bought 85,22,428 equity shares of the company at Rs 82.7 per share or Rs 70,48,04,795.6.

Damani himself held 4.73 percent stake in India Cements as of December 2019.
