Physical Rubber prices witness some weakness on Friday

Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Friday, tracking sharp declines in domestic stock markets. Further, concerns over global growth due to the rapidly-spreading corona virus, too added pressure on rubber prices that overshadowed ongoing supply crunch in the global and the domestic rubber market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 135/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 129/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.50/ kg.
